History's Best of the Best 9
Here we go again! More of the game's great history in one set, History's Best of the Best 9.
Pre-Orders will ship by March 27th of 2025
This journey through history spans 90 years, starting in Boston with one of the game's early great personalities, Rabbit Maranville. Next, we head south to Baltimore and one of the greatest Negro Leagues teams in the 1929 Baltimore Black Sox, featuring the likes of Negro Leagues Legends, Rap Dixon and Jud Wilson. From Baltimore, we'll head west to the windy city with 1935 Chicago NL where Gabby Hartnett handles the catching duties. Fast forward almost 30 years as we shoot over to Detroit 1961 where Norm Cash and Rocky Colavito anchor an under-rated team. 16 years later, we find ourselves in Japan for 1976 Hankyu of the Japan Pacific League featuring Japanese stars Yutaka Fukumoto and Hideji Kato. We head back stateside and find ourselves back in Chicago where Harold Baines, Carlton Fisk and Lamarr Hoyt lead a star studded team in 1983 Chicago AL. Next we head south where the Killer Bees are attacking! Craig Biggio, Jeff Bagwell and Derek Bell lead the offensive attack for 1998 Houston NL. Finally, our journey ends right where it began but with a different franchise. The team most know for breaking the Curse of the Bambnino, 2004 Boston AL. Pedro Martinez, David Ortiz, Curt Schilling and the rest of this squad finally make their way into the History's Best of the Best series!
