History's Best of the Best 5
We're getting back in our baseball time machine and heading all the way back to the early 1900's as we make our way through some more of baseball's greatest teams in On-Deck Baseball: Pro!'s History's Best of the Best 5!
Our first stop takes us to the deadball era where we meet up with a 20 year old Georgia Peach and one of his finest seasons. Next we're off to the windy city for a pair of spectacular teams. First up is 1929 and the pairing of Roger Hornsby and Hack Wilson then it's off to the Southside and the Go-Go Sox that featured Nellie Fox and Luis Aparicio. Now we head to the Steel City where Pops and Clemente run the show. Now off to 1987 where a Minnesota team led by Kirby Puckett goes all the way, but in our next stop we look at a team that didn't even have a shot at a ring. One of the game's biggest "what if" seasons, 1994 was cut short due to a strike and killed the dreams of many Montreal fans. Finally we end up with one of the best teams not to win it all! 2002 Seattle tied the all-time record for single season wins and did it with the newly acquired sensation, Ichiro!
History's Best of the Best 5 comes with the following teams. Teams average 22 players per roster - qualifying players and some bonuses along the way!
